BUSI2301 Business law is often known as the commercial or cooperate law, which is a body of law that is applicable to the rights, relations, and conduct of persons and businesses engaged in mechanizing, commerce, sales, and trade. This code is associated with Tarrant County College District (TCCD). This is a branch of civil law that deals with issues of both private and public law.
This course has been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the legal system and its effects on their involvement in the daily activities of a business environment. In this course, the students will be able to learn about the roles of the government and private enterprise relationships. The course is intended to provide the business students the professional knowledge of related concepts to better prepare them for participation in the business arena and also make advancements in further business studies and/or the law.
This course provides the student with foundational information about the U.S. legal system and dispute resolution, and their impact on business. The major content areas will include:
general principles of law
the relationship of business and the U.S. Constitution
state and federal legal systems
the relationship between law and ethics
contracts, sales, torts, agency law, intellectual property, and
business law in the global context.
The objective of the course is to ensure the acquisition of working knowledge of terms involved in business law activities, increase an understanding of areas that can possibly be problem areas for those who are involved in business, and help the students in the identification and understanding of routes of conduct upon encountering such situations.

Brief On BUSI2301 Business Process Management Assessment:
There will be four examinations in total and the exam dates will be set on the class schedule. The exam will be conducted in the classroom where the instruction takes place. The students’ success will be measured by a variety of assessment techniques aligned with course goals and learning outcomes. Faculty members will be individually responsible for designing evaluation instruments to measure student mastery of course goals and learning outcomes and indicating the nature of each evaluation instrument in the instructor’s class requirements.
Throughout the semesters, the students will be assigned several end-of-chapter questions and case problems. These case problems will be taken up at various times during the semesters. The students will be provided with adequate time to complete this assignment but most will be due the next class day.
Attendance will help the students enhance their learning experiences. Therefore, attendance in each class is extremely important. If a student is tardy, it is his/her responsibility to make certain that their attendance is properly recorded. If students must be away for some emergency reasons, they must get the notes from one of their classmates.
If a student wishes to withdraw from the course, the student should take appropriate administrative actions to withdraw. The instructor does not have the provision to initiate a withdrawal if a student stops coming to the class.
