2. Analyse common arguments using logic, persuasion and influence factors as commonly applied to conflicting and/or competing stakeholder agendas.

In an organization with conflicting stakeholders, the greater persuasion and logic factors are to consider the needs of the other party and compliment them. There can only be an agreement if both conflicting parties can coexist and tolerate each other and make their approaches based on facts and logics. Competition can be healthy, but if it is not managed properly, then an organization might face disagreements which in the long run lead to failure.

3. Differentiate methods of project negotiation, conflict management, and stakeholder engagement across projects consisting of differing technology standards and asset lifecycles.

The primary stakeholders include the management team, government, employees and external consumers. All the activities should be conducted in such a way that they encourage the development and satisfaction of all the parties (Anbari F (Date Unknown) ). In the technology sector, the methods of stakeholder management should focus more on advancing new inventions which benefit all parties in one way or the other.

4. Explain and apply methods of identifying and reconciling inconsistent and conflicting objectives and drivers that develop, maintain, mange relationships and communication with key stakeholders.

Organizations can use the laws of authority and coexistence to identify and come up with reconciling factors within its team. Individuals need to know that they are answerable to an authority and all the set rules must be followed (Kerzner 2013.). Another way is to encourage group activities as they bring people together and enhance their communication in a particular area.

5. Explain the consequences of project delays, disruptions, and changes to planned activities and the methods for claims variations, liquidated damages, contract entitlements, and arbitration.

Some of the consequences caused by delay or postponing of activities and other interruptions in an organization are interfering with the team’s progress (Peña-Mora 2001.). Each department has a timetable of how they want to conduct their activities and delaying important issues like finances and resources might drag all the arrangements behind.

6. Evaluate project management tools that help avoid or provide conflict resolution via negotiated solutions.

Some of the management tools considered in conflict resolution are encouraging team work, giving all people an equal chance of participation and coexisting (PMI. 2013). An organization should be able to work together despite their different views and also learn to tolerate each other knowing that each has a great role in the development of the company.
