MGT203 Operations Management

Students are expected to answer the following questions:

o Clarify the competitive priorities that the organisation is trying to achieve.
o Explain why operations management is important to the organisation and how it supports it in achieving its priorities?
o Describe the features of the organisation’s operation which reflect common operations management practices. One of the features that must be covered is the role of information technology in connecting the organisation and improving operation.
o Highlight some of the issues experienced by the organisation and propose solving them using relevant operations management practices.
o Create a process map which highlights the links between the organisation’s head office and its internal or external stakeholders.
