Task Description

Students will complete a case study analysis on a selected topic, question or problem. The case study will relate to your discipline and the overarching theme of Wellbeing.

Task

You will analyse a case relating to a particular topic that is relevant to your discipline and the theme of wellbeing. You will source a range of texts relevant to the topic of your case study that provide background understandings of the case and its context. You will use secondary sources to analyse the case.

The process for developing your case study should consist of:

•Using a TED talk as a stimulus, you will identify a research question/ topic for your case study

•You will complete an annotated bibliography for Assessment 1. This will provide you with the key texts and high-level analysis for the literature review section for the case study analysis.

•Your research will begin as early as Week 2-3 and your research trail must be recorded in the Research Tracker. 

•General discussion and analysis of texts will be done collaboratively in class with your partner / group members

•Your analysis, synthesis and writing is to be completed individually

•A mini presentation of the findings from your Case Study Analysis will be carried out in Week 12. This will consist of 3 PowerPoint slides which will communicate the key ideas illuminated by the case.
