The doctor asks you to complete the relevant paperwork for the worker’s compensation claim. The fisherman’s hand measures 210 mm from the middle of the distal wrist crease to index fingertip (Figure 1). Below the actual image is the scientific drawing of the fisherman’s hand showing the orientation of the wound and position of the stitches. To complete the drawing, you must include a scale bar. Once completed you will need to determine if the drawing is accurate to retain for your patient records.
