Requirments

For this assignment you have the choice of using your current workplace (or an organisation you are familiar with) as a case organisation. Alternatively, you can use a case study in the literature which has sufficient information for you to meet the assignment requirements.

Context 

You are working as the senior project manager in your chosen case organisation and a senior executive has recently attended a conference in which the differences between agile and waterfall methodologies were discussed and various project work related matters such as PMOs, stakeholder engagement, governance and project management maturity models were introduced. The senior manager has asked you to provide advice in the form of a memorandum (you will be allowed a generous length) on these various matters in relation to your case organisation. Your advice is to be justified by recent and relevant scholarly (journal articles, eBooks and books) literature and include in-text citations and a reference list. 

Your advice will take into account the current organisational context and project management maturity level. Your will make recommendations on action to take in relation to all of the following matters:

• Adoption of waterfall versus agile methodologies

• The structure of project governance

• Stakeholder engagement

• The use of a PMO

• The use of a Project Management Maturity framework Each matter should be given equal weighting in terms of word count.
