Read the following statement in Figure 1 p.10 of A National Framework for Recovery-oriented mental health Services:

"Australia’s national recovery-oriented mental health practice framework provides concepts and definitions of recovery, describes the practice domains and key capabilities necessary for the mental health workforce to function in accordance with recovery-oriented principles and provides guidance on tailoring recovery-oriented approaches to respond to the diversity of people with mental health issues, to people in different life circumstances and at different ages and stages of life."

Now answer the following questions:

In light of the above statement, critically analyse the central legal, ethical and theoretical elements within the above-mentioned framework. Please provide a clear rationale for the response you provide, including references to the literature supporting the argument you are making.

(1) Legislation for mental health practice (in particular for the state you reside/practice in)

(2) Ethical frameworks for mental health practice (you could also refer to your professional body's code of ethics) and;

(3) Theoretical frameworks underpinning recovery-oriented mental health practice in Australia.
