Discuss the objective of the experience in building children’s multiliteracy learning and meaning making.

Discuss teaching strategies implemented in the experience.

Evaluate the multiliteracy learning, supported by references to literature.

Provide at least 2 ways the experience could be extended.

Include at least 6 peer-reviewed references to literature.

Criteria for Assessment

The assignment will be assessed according to the Learning Outcomes for the unit:

LO 1: Demonstrate contemporary knowledge of children's meaning-making in a variety of contexts; 

LO 3: use independent judgement to act in culturally responsive ways when planning teaching strategies and learning experiences for early childhood settings, with reference to relevant policies and curriculum documents; 

LO 4: analyse and plan ways to enhance children’s language learning;

LO 5: Identify and discuss teaching strategies that encourage children to use digital technologies for exploring and communicating; and 

LO 6: Demonstrate responsibility and professional standards of communication and literacy in a variety of contexts.
