This assessment focuses on strategic direction that presents in your workplace. The purpose of this assignment is to develop your conceptualization of the Unit content and its integration into your workplace management strategies. It is based on the model of strategic management provided by Ginter et al. (2018). For this assignment, we expect you to think strategically about your organisation and provide a reflection about the strategic direction of your workplace. In undertaking this assessment, you are developing the ideas and resources that will become the basis of Assignment 2, due in week 4.

This assessment requires you to conduct a situational analysis (SWOT) of your organisation, for future strategic management planning. This assessment is built on the first assignment, as it aims to help you ground the theory of strategic management, in healthcare, in a workplace scenario that you are familiar with. In undertaking this assessment, you are developing the ideas and resources that will help inform Assignment 3.
