For this assignment, you are a book analysis expert.  Choose an English storybook (non-academic) that is designed for an age group (early, middle, late childhood or adolescence).  In your paper, you are to include the following:  

a) State the specific age range that the book is designed for, and briefly summarise the contents of the book and any special features it has (Attach a picture of the book cover, and the content page, if any, in the appendix) .

b) Using theories and/ or materials covered in this course, critique how appropriate this book is for its intended age range.  Elaborate your answer in terms of how the book did/ did not facilitate the specific group’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional development.
  
c) Discuss how culturally relevant this book is to our Singapore population
