Task:

The purpose of this assignment is to understand the role cultural intelligence plays in social interactions at work.

Drawing on your knowledge of being a global citizen, analyse the Case of Alana Robertson at Munchia. Include in your analysis the following critical components:

1) Provide a description of Alana’s profile. Consider her background, education, professional experience and her personality. Reflect on how these might have contributed to the situations as described in the Case.

2) Using the lens of cultural intelligence, identify and analyse some of the factors that have contributed to Alana’s breakdown.

3) What are your recommendations for Alana to move forward? Advise Alana on how to develop strategies to acquire cultural intelligence. Include a framework or model to better explain the process of these strategies. Justify your recommendations

4) What are your recommendations for Alana’s boss and mentor, Thomas Stijns. Justify your recommendations

Formatting instructions
