Students are asked to prepare a report analysing current knowledge management systems in their organisation or one of their choosing. Selecting your own organisation is recommended due to the level of access you would have as an employee, but you also have the option to investigate a different organisation if you would like. You can use any of the knowledge management models or frameworks discussed in class to structure your report. You may wish to touch on some or all of the following issues: knowledge currently captured in the organisation, any gaps or areas without sufficient infrastructure, any KM systems available, uptake by employees, and issues or challenges with the available system.
