Your Task
Develop your personal brand by integrating learnings from Lectures 1-4.
Assessment Description
For this assignment, students will be required to develop a personal brand that is authentic and unique. The completion of this assignment requires students to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Learning Outcomes 1 and 2, covering topics between weeks 1 - 4.
The assignment should contain three (3) sections:
1) A self-reflection section:
• Drawing on material from the first 4 lectures, discuss who you are and what your strengths and skills are. Discuss what makes you unique, what is your purpose is, and what motivates you?
2) Brand strategy:
• Discuss your brand strategy. I.e. what new organisations will you target to fit your personal brand and/or how you will re-design your current work role to better fit your personal brand?
• Discuss how you plan to improve your brand (i.e. are there new skills you need to develop to get where you want to go, or have you identified any personal weaknesses you need to improve? How will you obtain feedback from others to know you are on brand?).
• Outline what networks and social media platforms you will use attract your target audience.
3) Develop a short brand statement and brief narrative (maximum 300 words).
• Outline who you are, the value you deliver to your audience, and what your purpose is.
• Discuss how your previous experience, skills and strengths align to fulfill your brand. You should also hand in any evidence of materials used to build your personal brand. For instance,the VIA strength test results.
