The challenges will include language barriers, cultural differences, unreliability, and uncooperativeness of local staff.  In the light of the above problems, the research will also try to solve such problems. Some of the solutions expected to solve the problems of managing local staff by manager include, good pay scale, flexible roster, pressure free environment of work place, building a diverse team, career development through training, creating cohesion between local and international staff among others.

    The industry partner of this research is Gloria Jean’s coffee. It is located Northland Shopping Centre kiosk number 20, Murray Road, Preston. This is a multinational beverage company and it has its base in Preston. From this, it can be understood that the body of management of Gloria Jean’s Coffee is composed of foreigners, specially the managers.  
         It feels very happy to start business, rather a food business in a foreign country. In this case, the management of the business needs to be prepared to face all the hurdles while doing business in foreign (Henricks, 2017). For Gloria Jean’s coffee, local staffs working in the café are the major problem as they are very uncooperative as well as unreliable. They seem to be very much unreliable.  
         The main focus of the research will be the challenges faced by the managers while operating in foreign soil. The many challenges will be language barrier, differences in culture, unreliability and uncooperativeness of the local employees (Gooderham, Gooderham and Grøgaard, 2013).  
The term reliability can take place in the restaurant by The employees being responsible about their duties Listening to their managers The employees should be concerned about the company and should work for the benefit of the company and not for their individual motive Should not take break during the peak time of the business

The main research problem that has been identified within the case study is the inefficiency and the uncooperative nature of the local employees. The local employees are unwilling to listen to their managers and are irresponsible towards the company 
The importance of solving the problems are: local staff will help manager to have in place staff who know the goals, strength, and culture of business.The business is likely to absorb employees who want to gain experience by working with this firm with the help of a good recruitment process

In addition, the research will be based on the problems of the managers of Gloria Jeans in hiring new staffs.  Another aim of the research is to provide the solution to the managers to hire reliable and cooperative staffs.  
The key or major research question of this research process will be to know the reasons behind the unreliability and uncooperativeness of the local employees.  To know the opportunities and challenges to hire local employees is another major question of this research.The most important question of this research is to address that how the managers will be able to hire cooperative and reliable local employees.  
     The necessary data for the research will be collected by the way of observation of the interviews between the managers and the employees.
