Therefore, planning is considered a key element that will enable the institute to effectively and efficiently achieve its set goals and objectives. It is recommended that a school must have organized strategic plans. The plans will help in communicating with students and general management.

The report puts efforts on two concepts of Leadership Transactional and transformational style (Transactional leadership, 2012). Transactional, as well as transformative leadership styles, are normally used to enhance the effectiveness of operation in the organization (Gaines, 2007). The external environmental are factors outside the institution. These factors hinder the performance of the school and include animal welfare, animal right laws, standards and stakeholders and other external factors.

5.1. Animal welfare

The Animal Welfare, in this case, is considered to the efforts made by the management of the school in ensuring that the animals are in good health condition. That is, they have to be treated, fed and be in the protection of terms like animal upkeep, as well as animal husbandry and humane treatment. Therefore, these welfares generalize the taking good care of the general health of animals. Therefore, with this aspects, it is clear that the school is keen in taking care of horses with proper attention.

The management does not have enough funds to divert and embrace this new technology.  As a result, some students are changing their school, and this is affecting the entire school both the management as well as the students.

The school has no power and vision to compete with other riding schools. Competitions motivate the student to work hard. By so, they will have the courage to face another school, and this makes their brain active .Also, competition makes pupils love and enjoy being around the school compound and this gives them more time to train.

The theory of competing for value framework generally encourages effective performance in an organization. The theory has been of great significant in organizing and understanding for both institution and organization. The reason why this theory is useful is that its talks about competition and innovation other supporting theories include are effective of the organization, leadership competencies, organizational beliefs and culture, stages of development, leadership roles, financial policies, information processing and brain functioning.

The school should implement long-term development. Success always comes to those who work hard to achieve their goals. The long-term development can either be to construct a playground for all the students to compete every day before leaving the school compound or create time for competition to invite other schools to join their students in completion and rewarded the winner.

 The management encourages creativity to implement new ideas among the students. Creation of new ideas boosts and gives moral support to all the students to identify and use their talents well. It educates students about the importance of setting goals. Setting specific goals and challenging goals leads to great tasks and high performance.

  The significant features of goal setting theory; the readiness to work is a motivating factor. Challenging goals are considered to be a greater motivator than simple tasks. The school should set specific and clear goals to guide the management in running the institution thus increasing the level of motivation at the school. Subordinates, therefore, should commit to the set goals. The advantage of setting goals that increase incentives to complete tasks delegated to staffs leads to better performance due to motivations as everyone will be working to attain the set standard in order to receive the reward thus contributing to increased performance.
