Pneumatic multi-spindle nut runners are widely used in industrial purpose. In the provided case study, it is seen that the management is trying to recruit few individuals on temporary basis. The main problem is that the management could not provide proper induction training regarding operating the heavy machineries and on the top of that the condition of the nut runner was pathetic. These issues can potentially bring in various injuries for the employees as the nut runner is designed in a way that it requires the operator to stand in an uncomfortable posture for a long period of time. Apart from that, according to the provided case study, the floor of the workplace was filled with oil leaked from the nut runner. In this context the operator might fall and get seriously injured (Warmerdam et al. 2016). The nut runners generate a huge amount of reaction forces to the hands of the operators, in this case the part time employees did not receive any prior caution and thus it can be said that the part timers were immensely exposed to various kinds of injuries like dislocation of bones, major or minor muscle injuries.

 Evident hazards in the situation and identifying the processes that can identify and prevent these hazards 

        From the provided case study, it can be perceived that the employees who joined recently as part timers, did not receive any induction training and does not know how the senior employees try to avoid the hazardous situations in that specific organization (Hwang et al. 2017). It is quite clear that the management of the organization is reluctant about providing adequate training to the employees due to various reasons and as they have increased the targets of the employees without considering the situation. In this scenario they were compelled to recruit some part timers to finish the work and they were sent to the workplace directly without any proper knowledge of the processes. This situation clearly shows that the part timers along with the senior employees of the organization are clearly exposed in front of various hazards like dislocation of bones, various types of muscle pain and many other issues (Hollnagel 2014). To identify and prevent these situations, the management can recruit a team dedicated for maintaining the safety and security of the employees in the workplace. The members of this team should be deployed to identify various factors that can bring in accidents in the workplace and give the information to the management to sort things out.

The management of the organizations should deploy a team who would take care of the hazardous situations and their duty will be to identify the risk factors and will decide how to avoid those risk factors.

The management should deploy a team especially for the work safety management in the   workplace and that team should consult with the general workforce of the organization to identify the basic issues and then they should try to solve the issues and try to prevent the issues.

Process to identify ongoing hazards in the workplace

   To identify the hazardous things the work safety management team of the organization should talk to the employees of the organization and enquire if they have noticed anything that may potentially bring in hazards in the workplace risking the safety and security of the employees. The team members of work safety management should have basic knowledge associated with the activities they have to supervise and they must have especial awareness regarding the activities which are especially complex and hazardous. In this particular case, the main problem is leakage of oil from the machines and lack of proper training of the employees.

How to assess and control the hazards

By building more awareness regarding the work safety issues the concerned employees should check on the heavy machineries whether they are performing in an optimal level or not. Apart from that providing proper induction training to the employees of the organization can help the situation. In this case, the safety management team might try to call some professionals to check on the machines and the managers should try to provide adequate induction to the employees of the organization in order to control and asses the hazards.
