• What are the problems that AAA is facing regarding the use of their existing Information Systems Please recommend an Information System solution (what type of Information System do you recommend to be used in AAA)  and briefly describe the proposed Information Systems.

1. Recruiters would gather data such as; language skills, GPA (academic performance), awards and work experience.
2. Information, the recruiter would have an in-depth understanding of the student’s capabilities. Moreover, this information would be combined with their background information to aid the institution is their admission process, questions on where, who and the number would be answered.
3. Finally, the knowledge acquired would assist the institution in identifying the students they need, using their background and capabilities 

Porter’s 5 forces, a tool that analyses a business and its environment using the five industrial forces to determine its weaknesses and strengths. On the other hand, value chain analysis identifies an organisation’s resources that best meet the customer’s requirements.

IT has improved service delivery which in itself has increased the effectiveness and efficiency of life. For instance, the delivery and maintenance of health services are now improved. Moreover, IT has improved security through computer controlled systems which also enhance human dignity. However, it’s also responsible for alienating our societies and also creating a false sense of reality.

IT has many roles in HR management, moreover, some of these roles improve the department’s activities which increase efficiency. Now, they are:

1. It’s the role of IT procedures to increase the accuracy and speed of HR processes. This is done by increasing the access to information and analysis procedures.
2. Increases HR’s data transparency and integrity.
3. Delivers timely and extensive information to HR.
4. Perform all the necessary support functions including training.

Disadvantages:

1. Reduces data integrity because of the constant transfer
2. Increases the complexity of data analysis, since a multitude of raw data is sourced from different applications.
3. Creates an unhealthy rivalry between the distributed users and their applications 
4.    BI system enhances data quality
5.    Improves management processes and decisions
6.    Creates better and personalised services to the customers
7. Product identification e.g. selecting between popular and unpopular products.
8. Hire data analysis e.g. determining their customer’s hire preferences. 

AAA is facing an integration problem with the existing IS, nevertheless this problem can be solved using an integrated IS, whose architecture combines the functionalities of enterprise, supply, transaction and customer relations systems. This system allows an organisation to have seamless interactions with its affiliates from suppliers to the customers.

1. Improved communication because of the consistent access to data.
2. Enhanced productivity as minimal time is spent on data replication.
3. Time efficiency where data is stored once, minimizing storage requirements.
4. Improved security, through access limitation based on authentication.
5. Enhances future prospects where more data can be added.
