BUSN1021 Organisational Behaviour

You are an employee in a medium-sized service company based in the Adelaide CBD. Your manager has become concerned that employee performance is not meeting expectations. He believes this may in part be related to existing organisation policy concerning accessing social media from the workplace (Currently, employees can access social media while they are at work).

After hearing that several of the employees are enrolled in an organisational behaviour course, the manager has asked that, as a team, you undertake some research.

The purpose is to find out what motivates different people to perform in the workplace and subsequently to make recommendations to your CEO on how performance might be improved through developing an appropriate organisation policy concerning accessing social media in the workplace.
