THL326 Theological Ethics

Task: 'Should Christian Churches offer same-sex marriages?' Critically discuss the issue itself- including any philosophical, social scientific, and scientific background-the reasons why it is of concern to Christians and the way your own interest in the topic affects your approach to it. Develop a critical Christian response, calling on the resources of biblical interpretations, theological reflection and pastoral/ecclesial action. Note: Please ensure that you challenge the different perspective, look to different biblical interpretation, look to other views of marriage, and discuss personal thinking.
