The aim of this assessment is to help students learn how to analyse and explain the key issues in social entrepreneurship and managing entrepreneurial enterprises.

Requirements:

Write an essay critically examining the main issues pertinent to the question.

This assessment is designed to evaluate students’ capability to use their knowledge of social entrepreneurship theories and concepts to discuss a social issue.

Students need to analyse and closely examine social entrepreneurship literature. Further, they need to consider, assess, and communicate the key issues associated with the essay topic and provide a meaningful conclusion from the analysis of the literature.

Please use the following topic for assessment:

1- Comparing two different contexts (developing countries vs developed countries) what are the most effective strategies to scale the social impact of start-up social enterprises in each? Explain and justify the strategies for each context/setting. Give examples to illustrate your answer.
