SBM2501: Business Law and Due Diligence

The students are expected to select a published journal article (not older than 5 years) from the field of Business Law and summarize the article’s main topic(s), aim/ purpose, key points and conclusions clearly in 400 (min.) to 500 words (max.). Students must provide the article’s website link and correctly provide the article’s reference in the submitted word file. The link and reference are not included in the word count.
Guidelines for writing a summary of an article:
Identify the key ideas of the article.
Identify type of Business structure.
You are required to summary the article in your own words without copying phrases and sentences from the article unless they’re direct quotations.
The length of the summary should not exceed more than one third of the length of the original article.

The summary should include:
Introduction
Body Paragraphs (explanation of each key idea found, strength and weakness)
Concluding Paragraph (conclusion and recommendation)
