The modern burials using extravagant caskets and the synthetic materials leads to low biodegradation an it occurs at a slow rate leading to a number of problems. On the contrary, the burial showed in the movie is on the other hand a burial using just the natural course of biodegradation. In this process the caskets are relatively easy to degrade as they are made of materials, which are natural, in most cases caskets are not even used, and the shroud is the only thing covering the body. The use of natural processes and the allowance of nature to take its course makes it more nature friendly. It is very confusing that the practice which was the general habit for most of the societies around the world and is still practiced in most countries is so environment friendly (Olson, et al., 2017).

 

The planting of trees not only puts the bodies to use and aids the decomposition but also helps in usage of the land, which is not common among the burial sites. The land thus used can be used for growing resources which can aid the community and the closed one can relate to the tree as one of their own has aided the growth of another life and helps in the sustainable development of the environment. In this context, it is very disturbing that all the memories of the person will be lost in time with no headstones or such things. On the contrary, there are a issues in that can be addressed with this. Moreover, the land used for such a burial can be reused which will help in decreasing the amount of issue the society of the low burial space (Holden & McDonald?Madden, 2017). The land used in the practice will also more productive and helpful in the sustenance and development of the society. The green burial can always be seen as the future to the tradition of burial, which will be environment friendly.

The issues that are presented in the video which helps in the growth of the environment and the help of the people and the society will raise an awareness about the proper use od the land an the resources for the burial. The major issues raised is why such burial are made more as a publicity stunt rather than being a general way of respecting the elders.

 

Moreover, what is more intriguing in the video encompasses the use of the general caskets which the people in the most of the societies already use. It is a general trend in most of the third world countries that there are a limited number of resources in the society and the people  follow what is being shown as the green burial (Aruomero & Afolabi, 2014). What I found disturbing was that the video was more focused on showing of the ornate cases rather than promoting the cause and helping in the growth and development with the cause of environmental burials. One good thing that the video portrays that the caskets can be made environment friendly and beautiful at once.  

 

The questions are more than the cause that are addressed in the video. For the success of any strategy propounded in the society one has to accept the fact that they have to be accepted in the masses of the society. The masses in the society are not economically well off enough to support their families, leave alone shift to alternate caskets of a high price. To make this strategy a success one has to accept the fact that the reach of the issue has to be increased by making it more pocket friendly rather than just marketing it. The environment is very delicate and the issue  has to be addressed as soon as possible and in the present society nothing plagues the society more than the disposal of dead. If they are made environment friendly and economical a large number of issues in the society can be easily addressed. The present society needs to understand that the environment and the nature is at the tipping point and the humankind should not test its patience.
